Rehearsal boot camp for community theatre started this week. We had rehearsals Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. This was to learn choreography before the choreographer goes back to college for the fall. So far it’s been lots of fun! My fellow cast mates have some very impressive talent – I cannot wait to see how this show turns out! Luckily I worked from home Tuesday through Thursday, so I didn’t have so much driving to do on rehearsal days.
This is also my final week of the PiYo program, which is bitter sweet! I love the program, but I’ve been doing it for four months, so it’s time to move on to the other programs I own. I’ve decided to do Shaun T’s Rockin’ Body. Even though it’s not his latest, it’s one that I’ve owned since 2013 but never completed. I lost the calendar and used that as an excuse not to do the program all the way through. Now that I’m a Team Beachbody member (and coach), I’ve added the program to my workout calendar. It’s time to get through this program!
Here are my workouts for the week:
- Monday: PiYo Define: Lower Body – 25 minutes
- Tuesday: PiYo Sweat – 35 minutes
- Wednesday: PiYo Strong Legs – 30 minutes
- Thursday: PiYo Strength Intervals – 25 minutes
- Friday: woke up late and had plans directly after work so I didn’t work out
- Saturday: PiYo Sculpt – 30 minutes
- Sunday: PiYo Drench – 45 minutes
Even though I completed the PiYo program, I still need to practice the PiYo Live routines. I need to be prepared to teach my first course August 24th. That means I’ll be doing more than one workout per day, because I’ll do the Rockin’ Body workouts, then I’ll be practicing PiYo form and cuing.
This week will be my last at my full time accounting job. It’s bitter sweet, because I know I’m doing the right thing, but I will miss my colleagues. They’re a great group of people. While sad to see me go, they are also happy for me to be moving on to live my dream!
